A Byrnes Mill woman and a west St. Louis County woman were hurt in a two-vehicle traffic accident early Sunday, March 19, on I-270 in Maryland Heights. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Jamie Lopez-Reyes, 40, of Chesterfield was driving a 2018 Toyota Highlander south on I-270 south of Hwy. 364 when she changed lanes, causing a 2001 Volkswagen Tiguan SUV driven by Haley Vernon, 29, of Byrnes Mill to hit the rear driver's side of the Toyota. Vernon sustained minor injuries and was taken by Creve Coeur Fire to Mercy Hospital St.
