Women's ACHA ice hockey built a 2-0 lead midway through the opening period, but McKendree came back to score a 4-2 victory over the Lions in Women's Midwest College Hockey (WMCH) action Saturday night at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Loki Antonio first sounded the horn for Lindenwood from a feed of Ardyn Hawryshko at 6:31 p.m. Hawryshko then scored a shot himself on a play set up by Antonio and Madison Teague at 8:40 for a 2-0 Lions lead. Lindenwood held that advantage for the rest of the first and most of the second until the Bearcats broke the shutout with 52 seconds left in the period.
